Permission Slips Needed/ Bood Orders Due Fri.
Good Morning!
I sent home permission slips for the students, please return them as soon as possible. It looks like the majority of the class will be able to post on the blog and have their pictures added when we do projects, have field trips, etc.
I also sent home a bood order. Only one check is needed no matter how many orders are placed.
We'll be having a social studies test next Thursday. A guide will go home tomorrow to help the children with their studying.
We are having a great year so far! The kids are WONDERFUL!!!!

Hello!
We are off to a GREAT start this year! I have 21 of the most wonderful kids any teacher could ever ask for! So far we've taken a Reading Placement Test and a timed 2 mulitplication test. We also started working on a packet to learn more about Wisconsin. Today we colored the state flag (1848) and listened to the book "School Days" by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Between 11:30-11:45 I'm reading the book, "Inkheart" to the class and then from 11:45-12:00 we have D.E.A.R. (drop everything and read. The students may read classroom books or bring a book of their own. We will have our first library checkout time next Friday. Stay tuned for more later...I will be sending home a permission slip for the blog tomorrow and have a picture of our first day to post.

Welcome the Fourth Grade!
Hello New Students and Parents!
Welcome to our Class Blog! This is a place where students will talk about the class happenings, share pictures, and let you know what to expect in the days ahead! Each student will have a chance to take care of the blog and I'll add updates of important events, assignments, or test dates as well.
There are web links you can follow to view the Chippewa Falls District site, play games, or practice skills.
I hope you enjoy this blog and fourth grade! I'm looking forward to a great school year!

We are getting exited for the Northern Wisconsin state fare coming up on July 8th to July 12th.
Today is Tuesday, June 23 and the low is 72 and it is supposed to get up to the hottest day that we have had in two years with humidity.
